Rebecca Ora
Rebecca Ora/rora is a mixed-media artist, performer and scholar based in California whose darkly humorous socially-engaged work explores comedy, discomfort, conflict, and the limits of "appropriate" representation of trauma. Her recent projects include Porn For The Blind, 9/11 Scarf, The Independent Sovereign Nation State of Pantasia, Anne Frank: The Revised Definitive Critical Media Edition, Killing Time in Battambang: A Film About The Holocaust, and Porn For The Blind Pt.II. She has exhibited at Steven Wolf Fine Arts, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE), among others. Her writing has been included in numerous art catalogues and anthologies, and she will be published in the upcoming book Constructions of the Real.
