Biography: 
Rolando Vargas. Colombia. Fulbright Scholar with a MFA at University of Maryland Baltimore County and a BFA from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. Internationally exhibited artist who works in video, Mr. Vargas uses found archival audiovisual documents to create installations that questions assumptions in authenticity and value as they conserved political, cultural and social conventions. His current documentary film project “Walking Kids of Choco” received a major multinational grant from the Andes Community (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia) in 2013.
