Biography:
Schechter is currently supervising film and television projects with writer, director and producer Greg Berlanti (ARROW, THE TOMORROW PEOPLE, FLASH), including PAN featuring Hugh Jackman and Garret Hedlund, slated for a June 2015 release. Schechter was previously Senior Vice President for Warner Brothers Pictures, working on films including I AM LEGEND, and 10,000 B.C., WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, and GET SMART. Prior to joining Warner Bros. Pictures, Schechter was a Creative Executive at Barry Mendel Productions at Universal Pictures for over three years. While there, she oversaw THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU and worked on MUNICH and THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS among others. Schechter graduated with Honors with a degree in Film and Video from UCSC in 1998.
