Biography:
Jamilli Pacheco-Urqueza is currently completing a BA in Cinema Studies at Rutgers University. A first-generation student of Oaxacan heritage, they recently worked as an intern for the documentary production company Motto Pictures, producers of such films as Velvet Underground, Charm City, and Once Child Nation. Jamilli's research interests include queer, Latinx and immigrant histories and contemporary communities and they plan to work as a filmmaker and educator.
