Biography:
Wilcox graduated from UCSC with a degree in Film and Video in 1998. After a brief stint in Publicity at Miramax Films in New York, he moved to Los Angeles and transferred to the Acquisitions department for Miramax. As Director of Worldwide Acquisitions for the Universal Pictures Group, Wilcox not only looks for independent films to distribute domestically through Focus Features and Rouge Pictures (both divisions of Universal Pictures), he also looks for product for Universal International to distribute overseas. In 2012, Wilcox joined Relativity Media as senior vice president of acquisitions.
