Symposium Focused on Fixed: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement

On Friday, Nov. 14, the University of Rochester hosted a symposium organized around Fixed, by Regan Brashear (SocDoc '08). Titled “Complicating Normalcy: Disability, Technology, and Society in the Twenty-First Century,” the event featured a screening of her thesis film and keynote from Dr. Gregor Wolbring and Regan, as well as a full day of talks from scholars whose work intersects with issues raised by the film.
