Want to help produce an annual journal focused on film and television?  FILM 185X, EYECANDY, is just the ticket!

This is a 5-unit course offered by the Film and Digital Media Department in the Winter Quarter.  Students work collaboratively and create a professional journal covering a variety of issues regarding film and media culture.  You can critique a film, or write an essay about a television/screen phenomenon, or interview a filmmaker of interest, or contribute your skills in graphic arts and design.  A printed copy is published every Spring Quarter, but we also need people to work on the EYECANDY website.

We have open slots in the course and are inviting you to join, in hopes of increasing diversity and a range of perspectives and talents in the class.

If you would like to take part in this fun and exciting project please apply online at https://slugfilm.ucsc.edu/secure/production_applications/

We are especially looking for outstanding juniors and seniors with excellent writing skills and a passionate knowledge of film.  You will be notified shortly after you apply regarding acceptance into this unique class.
