Ovarian Psycos, a new documentary co-directed by SocDoc alums Kate Trumbull-LaValle and Joanna Sokolowski, has recently launched a Kickstarter Campaign. The film follows the irreverently named Ovarian Psycos Cycle Brigade, a ferocious and unapologetic group of young women of color who cycle through the barrios and boulevards of L.A.’s Eastside, committed to collectively confronting racism and violence, and demanding and creating safe spaces for women.
