Special Topics in Film and Digital Media: Documentary Horror

Through a comparative reading of the horror genre "Documentary Horror" will survey the frightening, macabre, and terrifying things in documentary film to find out what makes real life so creepy. Each week a fantastic collection of ghastly, yet completely true documentaries will be presented for your viewing (dis)pleasure. While horror films are frightening, real life is even scarier. Students will also create their own horror documentaries that will be showcased at the end of the quarter.
