Briana O'Higgins

F*t, H*iry and Di*abled is a three part audio series about bodies in resistance to prescribed and expected corporeal 'normality'. In the 21st century, public health discourses about fatness, gender and ability are ubiquitous, but often oppressive. These are stories of people who have resisted those conventional discourses, and reclaimed their bodies in liberation and as testament to bodily possibility. Briana is now on staff and on the air at KMUW - Wichita Public Radio 89.1
