Biography:
"Victorville" is a photographic essay on the failed development of an unlikely suburb, picturing it as a metaphor of the conflict of American ideals and the romanticism of the American West. Located on the outskirts of Los Angeles and the western edge of the Mojave Desert, Victorville was named the nation's second fastest growing city in 2007. Soon after, the boom became a bust, leaving behind a scarred and haunted landscape.
