Research Interests: 

Cam Archer has written, edited, and directed numerous award winning shorts, music videos, and two narrative feature films.  Archer's first feature, WILD TIGERS I HAVE KNOWN, was workshopped at the Sundance Screenwriter's Lab in 2005 and made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival that following year.  The film was released theatrically by IFC films in 2007 and received an Independent Spirit Award nomination that same year for Best Cinematography.  Archer's second feature, SHIT YEAR, made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2010, as part of their Director's Fortnight Program and was released theatrically and on VOD through Factory 25.  Archer is currently developing a series of autobiographical films, and two new feature film projects.
