Kim Kölle Valentine is a visual and media artist. Her research interests are feminist media practices, histories, and distribution networks. She approaches her work through archival remediation, process-based techniques, and speculative recuperation. She studied studio art at Concordia University (Tio’tia:ke/Montréal) before completing a Masters of Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in London. Her work has been shown widely in exhibitions and screenings, including at Dazibao, LUX (London, UK), VOX, centre de l'image contemporain, FIFA Experimental, Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival, MIX NYC, WRO Biennale, Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, and Bienal de la Imagen en Movimiento (Buenos Aires). She has been an artist in residence at KulturKontakt (Vienna, AT), Aberystwyth Arts Centre (UK), The Red Mansion Foundation (Beijing, CN), and the International Studio and Curatorial Program (Brooklyn, US).
