Gonzalo Galetto is an artist and filmmaker working to destabilize anthropocentric perspectives through film and media installations. Working at the intersection of art and film, he focuses on media installations and filmmaking practices that allow for re-engagement with the environment. His work reframes ecological relations, shifting perspectives and narratives of landscape, imagining and “becoming with” the agents that sustain it. Gonzalo was born in Argentina and has lived in Miami, New York, and Providence. He holds a B.A and B.F.A. from FIU and a M.F.A in digital media from RISD.
