Via Zoom

How do creative workers and activists intervene in problems of social justice? How have those interventions accounted for or impacted the dynamic evolution of media environments? What is the intersection of creative work and political activism? How do our voices occupy that intersection, and how can they do so with power and purpose?

Join acclaimed game designer and Oculus Launch Pad Fellow A.M. Darke (Games and Playable Media); revolutionary scholar and Center for Creative Ecologies Director T.J. Demos (History of Art and Visual Culture), and groundbreaking radio/sound artist Anna Friz (Film and Digital Media) in a conversation moderated by musicologist and popular culture scholar Nicol Hammond, about the next era of art’s intersection in global struggles for power and justice.

Presented by Kresge College, Film and Digital Media, and the University Library
