The Film and Digital Media department at UC Santa Cruz has been ranked #9 by College Factual as one of the nation's best colleges for undergraduate film majors. USA Today noted that our program "prepares students to become expert critics and analysts of world cinema, television and new media." This recognition places us with other film programs at NYU, USC, UCLA and UC Berkeley.
