Want to help produce an annual journal focussed on film and television? FILM 185X, EyeCandy, is just the ticket!
This is a 5 unit course offered by the Film and Digital Media Department in the Winter Quarter and satisfies an elective for the F&DM major. Students work collaboratively and create a professional journal covering a variety of issues regarding film and media culture. You can critique a film, or write an essay about a television/screen phenomenon, or interview a filmmaker of interest, or contribute your skills in graphic arts and design. A printed copy is published every Spring Quarter, but we also need people to work on the EyeCandy website.
If you would like to take part in this fun and exciting project please apply online here. We are especially looking for outstanding juniors and seniors with excellent writing skills and a passionate knowledge of film. You will be notified shortly after you apply regarding acceptance into this unique class.
The course meets Tuesdays from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. in Communications 139, and is taught by L.S.KIM, Associate Professor of Film and Digital Media.
