Biography: 
Jeanne's work as a researcher, educator and documentarian interrogates the relationship between struggles for aesthetic and political autonomy in urban and rural contexts across the Américas. Her past projects include researching and writing about artist-activist collaborations on Chicago's South Side in the 1970s and '80s, curating a community photography project in Chicago's Washington Park neighborhood, and producing a community-based film project in Southwestern Colombia documenting the history of land rights struggles in the Afro-Colombian territory of Alsacia.
