Undergraduate Student Equipment
The UCSC Film and Digital Media Department has an extensive range of video production equipment available to our undergraduate production students. The quality, sophistication and amount of equipment available increases as students progress through the production curriculum. FDM students will find the cameras, lenses, audio recorders, lighting kits, microphones, tripods, stabilizers, specialty and grip equipment necessary to do high quality work with excellent production values.
The following list is an overview of the equipment used in FDM classes. Use of equipment is restricted to students who are currently enrolled in a production course, and can only be used for coursework. The inventory is subject to change as equipment is constantly being updated.
