Justice for My Sister (Video)
Adela Chacon Tax was killed violently in July 2007. She left behind three children and a houseful of warm, boisterous family members who are grappling with the aftermath of her death. One sister, Rebeca, has taken on the fight for justice, and confronts a system and a society that normalizes violence against women. Justice for My Sister investigates the concept of femicide, or gender-based killings in Guatemala, and how different people in Adela's rural town make sense of her death.
