Film and Digital Media Overview Meetings for Prospective Students
Meeting with F&DM Faculty
Our faculty are the best resource for learning about the philosophies and foundations of the F&DM program. Faculty can explain what this program strives to teach our students and the value of an Arts education in today's world. They have more knowledge about possible careers students might choose and how this program might differ from other film programs.
We have arranged for 2-3 F&DM faculty to be available to talk with prospective students and their families and offer a basic tour of our facilities on April 6 and April 13 in conjunction with UCSC's Spring Spotlight.
Please refer to the calendar below for time and location.

If you are unable to attend one of these scheduled overviews:
You are welcome to stop by the department office during normal business hours. We can answer some general questions and offer you some handouts but understand that we might have limited ability to interact with you.
Our student representatives are available for prospective students to contact via email. They are a great resource and can tell you about the program and answer your questions from a student's perspective. One of them might be able to meet with you during your visit. Contact the department if you would like to email them.
We know the importance of getting information to prospective students and hope you understand that the department must do this in a way that also allows our staff and faculty to continue to effectively work, teach and serve the department and our current students. We strive to offer our students an optimal learning environment and appreciate your cooperation.
