BK Faunce, Ph.D.
in English from UC Riverside (1992), with a specialty in the
illuminated works of William Blake and postmodern critical
theory. Experience includes an extensive background teaching
introductory and upper-division courses in film, as well as
advanced seminars in film theory. Dr. Faunce has conducted
film workshops at a number of professional/academic conferences,
published several articles on film and is currently working
on a book length study on post modernity and the horror film
genre.

Studied screenwriting at Columbia University in New
York. She won a national screenwriting competition, and has
been invited to submit scripts to the Sundance Lab three years
running. She has also written for magazines, museums, and
the music business.
