Need to declare yourself as a Film and Digital Media Pre-Major or Major?
Have you...
- taken FILM 20A, 20B, or 20C and passed with a "C" or better? (one class completed = pre-major; 20A and 20B or 20C completed = major)
- printed out your "Petition for Major/Minor Declaration" and "Academic Planning Form" from http://advising.ucsc.edu/planning/your-major/declaration/
If you can answer YES to these questions, then you are eligible to become a FDM Pre-Major or Major!
So, what next? Attend one of our Declaration of Major Workshops led by our department adviser, Tamra Schmidt. You only need to attend ONE workshop.
Pre-Major Workshops:
Tuesday, October 11 ~ 11:00am-12:00pm
Thursday, October 13 ~ 1:30pm-2:30pm
Major Workshops:
Tuesday, October 18 ~ 11:00am-12:00pm
Thursday, October 20 ~ 1:30pm-2:30pm
All declaration workshops will take place in Communications 150 (Studio C).
If you are unable to attend any of these workshops, please contact the department.
