On Tuesday June 4th 2013 Kimberly Bautista (SocDoc '09) participated on a United Nations Panel about Violence Against Women and Girls in Latin America and the Caribbean. Please see the attached document for more information about the panel. The panel discussed studies of the region, international human rights documents, existing domestic violence laws, court interpretations, socio-economic, cultural, and judicial obstacles that impede justice.
