Social Documentation MA program joins Film & Digital Media Department!

Founded in 2005, the Social Documentation (SocDoc for short) Masters program trains a new generation of documentarians.  SocDoc students have earned grants and awards for documentaries produced around the globe in film/video, photography, and digital media dedicated to the documentation of underrepresented areas of community life.  

SocDoc faculty joining F&DM include renowned critic andd curator B. Ruby Rich, Academy-Award nominated filmmaker Renee Tajima-Peña, and social art practitioner John Jota Leaños.
