Jacob Moe is a documentarian with a focus on radio, film and other audiovisual media. He has produced and hosted live radio shows in São Paulo, Athens, and Los Angeles, and is co-founder and managing director of the Syros International Film Festival based on the Cycladic island of Syros in Greece. His MFA thesis at UC Santa Cruz, titled Radio Saracura, is a prototype for community radio and participatory archival based in the central São Paulo neighborhood of Bixiga.
