Esra Ozban is a film programmer and filmmaker from Turkey. After completing their MA degree in ‘Film and Screen Studies’ from Goldsmiths College, University of London, Esra has worked as a programmer & coordinator at Pink Life QueerFest- the only queer film festival in Turkey- since 2014 and had been the director of the festival between 2017-2019. They have curated special film programs for bi’bak Berlin, Aphrodite Festival Athens, Cambridge University, Goldsmiths College among others and served as a jury member in international festivals. Esra also taught film-related courses at Bilkent and TED Universities and is a founding member of Atina Collective, a multicultural queer feminist art collective.
